In honor of our 8th Anniversary, we are releasing 3 barrel-aged beers!

Hogus Maximus Extremis Bourbon Barrel-Aged Strong Ale
14.1% 50IBU
Starting with our Hogus Maximus Triple IPA, we continuously fed the yeast until they tired of the buffet. Laid to rest in freshly dumped bourbon barrels for a year transforms this beer into a superbly balanced and gratifyingly lavish strong ale. Complex and nuanced, boasting bourbon saturated vanilla, perfectly toasted marshmallows, rich almond liqueur, English toffee candy, lightly toasted coconut, and a lingering sense of hedonism.

Laid to rest in freshly dumped bourbon barrels for a year transforms this beer into a superbly balanced and gratifyingly lavish strong ale. Complex and nuanced, boasting bourbon saturated vanilla, perfectly toasted marshmallows, rich almond liqueur, English toffee candy, lightly toasted coconut, and a lingering sense of hedonism. But we figured you wanted more descriptors and even more complexity, so we pulled off a portion and aged it on freshly roasted coffee beans provided by our neighbors at Caffe Lusso. Their expertly crafted coffee layers in smooth milk chocolate and coffee aromas and accentuates the bourbon and vanilla in this stellar brew.
